I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Guest House Diabora in Veliko Tarnovo. Nestled close to the charming old town, it's a hidden gem that perfectly captures the essence of authentic Balkan hospitality. The rooms, featuring beautiful brick walls and exposed beams, offered a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One highlight was definitely the breakfast - it was a delightful feast that provided just the right energy to explore the historical sites nearby, from the Archaeological Museum to Tsarevets Fortress. Plus, the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming me with warm smiles that set the tone for my stay. I loved lounging on the interior terrace, surrounded by blooming flowers, sharing laughs with friends while watching the world go by. If you're ever in Veliko Tarnovo, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out Guest House Diabora - it's a charming spot that I'm sure I'll return to!
